Accreditation Council For Certification Bodies (ACCB) being an independent (non-profit) organization is governed by the by laws. It defined in the bylaws. The Board Members have authority and responsibilities for the operations of ACCB to ensure that the governance policies and procedures shall represent interest of Board Members of ACCB. The terms of reference of this body shall be the following:
• Development of policies relating to the operations and procedure of ACCB
• Supervision of the implementation of the policies of ACCB
• Supervision of the finances of ACCB
• Contractual arrangements
• Legal & statutory compliance
• Comply with community expectations.
The Board delegates to the Chairman of ACCB the responsibility to implement the ACCB policies and procedures
The Technical Advisory Council represents ACCB and ensures our activities are impartial and transparent. It advises the Governing Board on matters relating to ACCB, including the Accreditation Review Board.
The Technical Advisory Council members are not more than 15 members with a Chairperson and a Deputy Chairperson that ensures technical experts are involved in developing accreditation programs.
