Accreditation Approval Committee (AAC) takes decisions regarding granting, extending, reducing, suspending and termination of accreditation. Initially AAC members are drawn from either internal or external experts or the committee ensures that it acts independently and impartially. This may be a single member committee.
This is a mandatory requirement that ACCB should expect the accredited CB to demonstrate the compliance with the accreditation criteria regarding the entire scope and that it has complied with these criteria from the date on which the accreditation was granted. In order to demonstrate that the CB has complied with and is complying with the criteria for the complete scope of accreditation, the CB shall provide records of the activities carried out.
